The first Stork-Werkspoor SW280 engines were delivered in 1982. This four-stroke diesel engine is designed to run on heavy fuel as a propulsion, auxiliary or stationary engine. We offer spare parts of original quality suitable for the following configurations: 6SW280, 8SW280, 9SW280, 12SW280, 16SW280, 18SW280.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SW280

  • Four stroke direct fuel injection.
  • Built in several configurations – 6, 8, 9 cylinders in-line engines and 12, 16, and 18 cylinders in V form engines.
  • Cylinder heads with 4 valve technology.
  • Designed for operation on heavy fuel with specifications meeting CIMAC: 1990 H55, K55; BSMA 100: 1989 class M9 and ISO 8217:2005(E), ISO-F-RMH 700.
